 One of the things I miss from "the old days" - the days before the pandemic--  is meeting folks in person for interviews.  Between picking them up in the lobby, taking them to lunch and the other interactions -- I feel something is lost.    This website tries to fix that by answering all those little interactions and questions-- from how's the weather to what I last learned-- and the nuances I've come across   Here, you'll find my guiding principles, my favorite candy, where I’ve been, where I’m going and what I’m actively restoring   .  I welcome any feedback you may have.  

Who I Am

I’m Mark Anthony Franco—an operations and service delivery leader with 15+ years of experience helping enterprise platforms scale efficiently and humanely.

I’ve led cloud migrations, incident recoveries, onboarding transformations, and real-time systems at Microsoft, Amazon, Carnival, and HashiCorp.

I build systems that scale trust, not just tech—and I love solving hard problems that cross engineering, customer success, and product.
